How We Work Together
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Together, we’ll uncover patterns that may be holding you back and practice practical, supportive strategies to help you feel more in control and confident in your daily life.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT can help you face life’s challenges with curiosity and compassion, accepting difficult emotions rather than avoiding them.
Grief Therapy
I provide a compassionate and supportive space to help you navigate loss at your own pace.
Strengths-Based approach
We’ll explore what makes you unique and use those strengths to navigate challenges, set meaningful goals, and create positive change in your life.
Trauma-Informed Care
Our therapy sessions are guided by your pace and your sense of readiness, with an understanding of how past (and present) experiences affect your daily life.
Culturally Responsive Care
I approach therapy with cultural consideration and curiosity, recognizing how our backgrounds, identity, and lived experiences shape the way we move through the world, honoring those experiences rather than overlooking them.
What to expect…
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when life feels heavy.
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and focus on what brought you in, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll identify what feels most urgent, begin building practical coping tools, and create a plan that feels realistic and supportive as we work toward reducing distress and strengthening your resilience.

It’s nice to meet you!
I’ve dedicated my career to supporting people as they navigate emotional, medical, and life transitions. People deserve to feel heard and receive support that is responsive to their developmental stage, culture, and lived experience.
Much of my work has centered on helping adolescents and young adults move through uncertainty — whether that comes from illness, loss, identity development, or major life changes. Before opening my private practice, I worked in community and medical settings, both in the US and abroad. Overseas, I focused on educational development throughout Asia, while back in the US, I spent time supporting youth aging out of foster care, unaccompanied refugee minors adjusting to life in a new country, and young people and families navigating cancer treatment. I later helped build comprehensive psychosocial programs for patients ages 15 to 39 in large medical systems. Across these roles, I saw firsthand how deeply people benefit from having a steady, thoughtful space to process what they’re carrying, whether that’s grief, tough transitions, or difficult decision-making.
All of these experiences shape how I show up in the therapy room. I listen closely for story, meaning, and the parts of life that can be hard to put into words. I always bring a culturally responsive lens to my work, recognizing how identity, family systems, and larger social structures influence mental health.
Above all, my goal in private practice is simple: to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered as you navigate whatever is in front of you.
Let’s Connect
Reaching out is a meaningful first step. You’re welcome to share a bit about what’s bringing you in, any questions you have, and what you’re hoping for in therapy. Feel free to include availability or preferred start dates, and I’ll respond as soon as I’m able to explore next steps together.
